Pen and Martin are now in the Arctic, for two weeks worth of equipment testing. SPRITE, the Mora ice drill, the body worn radios, an Equivital biotelemetry monitor, a Yellowbrick tracking beacon and the A1 video camera have all gone with them.

They’re basing themselves towards the northern tip of Little Cornwallis Island, about 1,000 miles from the Pole, with the intention of testing all of the above equipment and capturing some branded video footage and photos. The weather is surprisingly warm so far, sitting at about -20C. Positively toasty!
