Logistics, accommodation and transportation for the Pre Expedition Training on Broughton Island are all currently being researched and considered. Canadian North are looking to assist with flights. We are also looking into the possibility of moving the dates back for the training by a couple of days, to account for the change from high season to low season (thereby saving a considerable amount of money and travel time). The Freight Manager at Canadian North has been contacted to ensure the smooth transit of equipment from Ottawa to Iqaluit. We are also currently checking freight options for firearms and batteries, and trying to source flares in Iqaluit.
